Sound Drivers

Postby Eminence » Mon Aug 31, 2009 5:39 pm

You know how everyone on Vent misses me so much? Yeah, its because my sound drivers are fucked and I can't find any that make the mic input work  So, I'd like it if you guys could help me out :P

Find me some C-Media AC97 drivers for Vista or Win7. :D

Heh, Eminence, I heard that Company of Heroes crashes vent for me now.

I'm looking for answers on vent tech support, and someone else has had the problem, so I just used you and I as further examples of how fucked up it is.

You could try the Realtek AC 97 drivers. You'll most probably get a shit ton of problems, but it might work.

Some of the solutions I've found suggest using the Realtek versions. Otherwise I don't think they exist for Vista/Win7.

Tried XP? :s

The thing is, I had them working with Win7 previously... when I was using the 7000 build, before piggy told me they might be causing the vent problems I was having.

I guess I'll have to go back to XP... if I can get a copy of it.
